Tip of the day: Did you know that the price of items at the manufacturer's store tend to cost more than it would if you bought it at a departmental store or off-price store? For example, did you know that buying a Coach purse or Nine West handbags at a departmental store like Dillards or off-price store like TJ-Maxx tends to cost less than buying such an item at the actual manufacturer's store?
Well NOW you KNOW!!!! So, shop wisely and if possible visit multiple stores and malls/ shopping centers and you might be surprised!!!.

It's just the beginning of a new week and I can honestly say this week has been stressful so far. I have swallowed more Ibuprofen in the past couple of days than I have in 6 months. So to relieve my stress, I decided to go shopping!!! Funny thing was that I went to the mall with pounding headache and was going to use some headache relief medication like Ibuprofen but miraculously :), shopping was my cure. After walking around the mall and spending some dollar bills, I came out of the mall without any headache even up to this moment!!! I left the mall not buying much though: just a pair of cute shoes and a clutch I have been "eyeing" for months :)!! Here's the clutch I bought: the Nine West mixed company small clutch in croco java color!!
So here are your deals for the week so far!! I'll update the list once I go to the mall this weekend!!
Most of the stores still have the same sales as my post on Thursday, November 6, 2008. Hence, I'll not be re-posting those. It's advised that you look at past posts as some sales might still be on and the coupons still valid!! However, I'll list the stores which have some of their sales as listed in the prior post still valid. If the expiration date is past, the sale is not obviously valid anymore. If there are no expiration dates associated with a store's sale in my November 6, 2008 post for these stores, then the sale is still valid!!!

Banana Republic: Get an extra 20% off already reduced merchandise!! Didn't walk into this store to examine their merchandise for reason obvious to readers from my past posts :)
Gap: Get an extra 20% off already reduced merchandise as well!! Buy one get one 50% off pants in stores and online. They have "ok" priced merchandise. Hence, their sale should be fairly reasonable as well.
Bandolino: Get an extra 20% off ticketed price in stores and online!! Not bad. Merchandise are fairly priced, although some of their items seems to appeal to anyone who wants low-heeled shoes while some of their purses seem to appeal to a much older crowd. However, don't get me wrong, I like this store and have acquired nice shoes and purses from them!!! My favorite purse is still there!! Why won't they just reduce the price of the purse...gosh...Guess they like to torture me :( I still want that purse!!
Bebe: In stores, you get an extra 65% off clearance merchandise!!
Macy's: Get an extra 50% off clearance handbags and shoes! You also get an extra 40% off clearance accessories and extra 10-15% if you use your Macys card or shopping pass on regularly priced merchandise and fine jewelry!!! Their shoes are decently priced but I have seen and bought cheaper items from them :)
Charlotte Russe: They also have a sale going on! Get one pair, get the second pair at half price. This sale is not as good as last week's due given the price of their shoes. You are better off with a second pair at $10 than at half price :) .They have some really cute shoes!! But I guess the best part is that their selected clearance shoes which by the way are cute are all $6.99.
Don't even try buying the shoes online as they are more expensive. I have seen shoes I saw for $5 last week and $6.99 this week in the stores, selling for regular price online :(
Nine West: Get an extra 25% off lowest ticketed prices. Their boot sale is on as well and you save up to 30% off. Save an extra 20% off handbags too. If you want to purchase a Nine West item, purchase it at a departmental store like Dillards or off-price store like Ross or TJMaxx.
